A highly skilled team of educators have worked with infants for many years in this classroom, supporting children and families during one of the fastest changing times in child development. Each child is challenged with exciting curriculum materials and spends up to 2 hours of outdoor exploration each day (weather pending).
Whether breast feeding or ready for whole foods, we take special care to accommodate the nutritional needs of every child.
In our infant room, we focus on
- meeting individual needs of the child and family
- daily reports and weekly observations of every child to track development
- sign language and communication skills
- family engagement through our Home-School USB Project
Infant parents receive daily updates about eating, rest periods, social interactions, and diapering.
* Our 20% mixed ratio allows for children over 18 months to remain in the infant room until a Toddler Space is available
