To create positive learning environments in which each child’s learning and development will be supported, we have created an inclusive learning centre, full of resources, where all children have the right to participate.

Our environment is considered to be a third teacher which is responsive to the children’s interests and developmental levels.  Activities in the environment test theories & generate inquiry based learning about the world, allowing children to appropriately explore, move about, and still offer privacy.

We support positive and responsive interactions among the children, parents, and educators, and offer continuity and progressive challenges for children & families as they transition into new classrooms.  Our routines and schedules allow large blocks of time for children to explore mind, body and senses, with enough consistency and variety of learning materials to accommodate children’s interest and developmental levels.
